Prototype product
ko3
Audio is most alive when someone is choosing the next track in real time, in front of an audience that is actually present.
A real-time platform for hosted, social listening sessions. A study in atmosphere, low-latency audio, and product restraint.
ko3 is a live listening platform built around the host. The hypothesis is that audio is most alive when someone is choosing the next track in real time, in front of an audience that is actually present.
What it explores
- Real-time audio synchronisation with low perceived latency.
- A host-first product surface that resists feed-style entertainment patterns.
- An atmosphere — visual, sonic, editorial — that takes listening seriously.
Status
Early prototype. The interesting problems are split between distribution model, host economics, and the technical question of staying in sync without going thin on quality.
